Professional Registration Panel

The Professional Registration Panel (PRP) is responsible for assessing all submissions made at Certification, Chartership and Fellowship level (including the Knowledge Management routes) as well as Revalidation portfolios. The Panel currently comprises fifteen members from a variety of different sectors and roles.

The Assessment Process

The assessors mark all submissions against the stated assessment criteria for that level. The assessors work in pairs with an All Panel discussion used to help decide in cases when the assessors disagree on an assessment.


Panel Meetings

The Professional Registration Panel meets regularly throughout the year, where the assessors ratify and confirm results as well as discuss issues that have been coming up with assessments. In addition to these Panel meetings, there are usually monthly e-meetings that enable the assessors to confirm results - meaning that results will usually be published monthly.

Assessment times can vary -  for example some candidates may be asked for additional information, or an assessment may involve an All Panel discussion - so unfortunately we cannot confirm that any assessment will be seen at the next scheduled meeting even if it is submitted by a particular date.
