Regional member networks provide invaluable communities and sources of information and advice for members in England with devolved nations and CILIP Overseas providing an equivalent for members in Scotland,
Wales, Ireland and further afield. These groups introduce you to other professionals, support you through
the process of professional registration, connect you to local mentors and provide a local programme of events and CPD opportunities.
We represent CILIP in Wales, supporting and promoting the profession through cross sector advocacy work, by supporting the professional development of CILIP members in Wales and by growing CILIP membership in Wales.
We work on behalf of members to improve and support library and information services throughout the island of Ireland. We represent members across sectors through our advocacy work and by supporting the professional development of our
members.
We support the development of members with networking and learning opportunities through the Branch and Group network and events such as our annual conference, Autumn Gathering and CPD programme. We recognize and reward through our awards
and bursaries. We create a regular newsletter to keep members informed of our advocacy and policy work in devolved matters. CILIP in Scotland is a registered charity affiliated to CILIP and has its own website containing information, news and events
