UK Committee on RDA


The UK Committee on RDA (UKCoR) is responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of Resource Description and Access (RDA) on behalf of the UK library and information professional community. UKCoR reports to the CILIP Metadata & Discovery Group (MCG). CILIP is a joint publisher of the RDA Toolkit and supports the CILIP representative to the European RDA Interest Group, who is also an ex officio member of the MDG Committee

The committee:

  • contributes to the RDA development programme, and to the maintenance and governance of RDA
  • represents the interests of the UK library and information professional community regarding all aspects of RDA
  • supports implementation and development of RDA in the UK, for example by contributing to training events and conferences.
