Over the past 30 years we have seen major developments in scholarly communication through the adoption and championing of Open Science (OS). The adoption and exploitation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a revolution that is only just beginning.  

This session discusses firstly some achievements of Open Science in terms of support for research, and secondly the possible future impact of Artificial Intelligence
