Be inspired by community progression: enhance your library experience post pandemic at the CILIP Cymru Cynhadledd / CILIP Wales Conference 2022. Join us at our online* conference as we explore real-life examples from the library
community, with a focus on ensuring that we are fit for the future.
Empower your team and services, learn from others how to improve engagement, embrace climate and sustainability initiatives, and upskill your team. Helping improve accessibility, we are running this as an online conference
with a networking/social event for anyone wanting to catch up in person in Bangor on 19th May 2022.
Thanks to the Welsh Government, CILIP Cymru Wales is delighted to offer bursaries to public librarians to join us at CILIP Cymru Wales Conference 2022. Bursary application form.
In addition, CILIP Cymru Wales is delighted to offer bursaries to CILIP members living, working or studying in Wales to join us at CILIP Cymru Wales Conference 2022. We particularly welcome bursary applications from the library,
information and knowledge specialists in Wales from black and minority ethnic backgrounds, those who identify as LGBTQ+, people with experience of disability and those who are neurodiverse. Bursary application form.
We look forward to seeing you.
Follow us on Twitter @CILIPinWales or using the #CILIPW22.
* UPDATE: Originally, we were running this conference as hybrid - however we have since taken the decision to run this as a virtual conference supported by a physical networking/social in Bangor. Why have we done this?
Time has been ticking away and we wanted to ensure that we optimised your experience of the conference but still offered an in person setting in a more relaxed atmosphere.
The networking/social is being sponsored by The International Bunch and will be of no cost to those who want to attend. Several of the committee will be in attendance and we would love as many of you as possible to
join us - just choose the 'Online with in person social at Bangor' so we can confirm numbers, and you will be sent more information.
Please do reach out directly with any queries and I will happily help - chair.wales@cilip.org.uk
All the best, Lou
