"Gwneud benthyca mor hawdd â picio allan am dorth o fara": cyflwyniad i Benthyg Cymru

"Mae Llyfrgell y Pethau yn union fel llyfrgell lyfrau ond ar gyfer pethau nad ydych yn eu defnyddio'n aml iawn, nad oes gennych le ar eu cyfer neu na allwch eu fforddio. Mae'r eitemau sydd ar gael i'w benthyca yn cynnwys garddio ac offer DIY, offer gwersylla a llawer mwy. Bydd gan bob llyfrgell ei set ei hun o bethau i'w benthyca, i gyd ar gael am lai nag y byddech yn disgwyl ei dalu'n ail law a chyda'r cyfle i dalu gydag amser yn lle arian.

Mae Benthyg Cymru yn sefydliad sy’n cefnogi rhwydwaith o gymunedau, ac yn eu helpu i ddatblygu model Llyfrgell y Pethau sy’n gweithio iddyn nhw.”

Dewch i'r gweminar rhad ac am ddim yma i ddarganfod mwy ac i ddathlu Wythnos Llyfrgelloedd 2023.

"Making borrowing as easy as popping out for a loaf of bread": an introduction to Benthyg Cymru

Benthyg Cymru

"A Library of Things is just like a book library but for things that you don't use very often, don't have space for or can't afford. Items available to borrow include gardening and DIY tools, camping equipment and much more. Each library will have its own set of things to borrow, all available at less than you'd expect to pay second hand and with the opportunity to pay with time instead of money.

Benthyg (ben-thig) means to borrow or lend in Welsh. Benthyg Cymru an organisation that supports a network of communities, and helps them develop a Library of Things model that works for them."

Come along to this free webinar to find out more and to celebrate Libraries Week 2023.
