Mae Casgliad y Werin Cymru wedi datblygu Pecyn Cymorth Dad-drefedigaethu er mwyn hybu dulliau mwy cynhwysol a myfyriol o gasglu a rhannu hanes. Ei nod yw meithrin hyder i rannu deunyddiau sy’n ymwneud â hanesion cymhleth neu hanesion nad ydynt yn cael eu cynrychioli’n ddigonol.

Mae’r pecyn cymorth yn mynd y tu hwnt i hil. Mae hefyd yn mynd i’r afael â rhagfarn sy’n gysylltiedig â rhywedd, anabledd, rhywioldeb, dosbarth, crefydd, a mwy. Mae’n annog cyfranwyr i feddwl yn feirniadol am sut y caiff hanesion eu cyflwyno, ac yn eu helpu i adnabod rhagfarn, ychwanegu cyd-destun, a chynnwys lleisiau sydd ar goll. Nid yw’n ceisio sensora nac ailysgrifennu’r gorffennol; yn hytrach, mae’n ceisio hybu dull o adrodd stori mewn modd tryloyw ac ystyriol.

Mae CILIP Cymru a Casgliad y Werin Cymru eich gwahodd i ymuno â ni am weminar am ddim.

Bydd y sesiwn yn cynnwys:

Pam y cafodd y pecyn cymorth ei ddatblygu

Beth sydd ynddo a sut y mae wedi’i drefnu

Sut y gellir ei ddefnyddio, gan gynnwys enghreifftiau

Cyfle i ofyn cwestiynau

Bydd y gweminar hwn yn cael ei gyflwyno trwy gyfrwng y Saesneg.

People's Collection Wales have developed a Decolonisation Toolkit to support inclusive and reflective approaches to collecting and sharing history. It aims to build confidence in sharing materials that engage with complex or underrepresented histories.

The toolkit goes beyond race. It also addresses bias related to gender, disability, sexuality, class, religion, and more. It encourages contributors to think critically about how histories are presented, helping them identify bias, add context, and include missing voices. It doesn't aim to censor or rewrite the past, but to support transparent and thoughtful storytelling.

CILIP Wales and People's Collection Wales invite you to join us for a free webinar.

The session will include:

Why the toolkit was developed

Toolkit content and structure

How it can be used, including examples

An opportunity to ask questions

This webinar will be presented in English.
