The Topol Review: Preparing the healthcare workforce to deliver the digital future

In this Leaders Network webinar Sue Lacey Bryant will take you through the Topol Review and what it means for information professionals.

Participants will:

• understand the scope of this independent technological review, the approach taken and the principles agreed
• appreciate the structure of the final report, component elements
• be made aware of the Top Technologies expected to impact on healthcare and the healthcare workforce over the next 20 years
• be introduced to the recommendations of the Review Board, particularly those relating to information professionals
• be asked to consider what this findings may mean for librarian and information professionals?

As Senior Advisor, Knowledge for Healthcare, HEE, I lead the implementation of this strategy for the development of NHS funded health libraries in England as a business critical resource.
