Join us for this year’s AGM where we shall review HLG’s activities over the past year and look to the months ahead. 

 

Immediately following the AGM we welcome guest speaker s Jo Cornish, CILIP’s Head of Sector Development , and Dominic Gilroy, Knowledge and Library Services Workforce Planning and Development Lead for Health Education England,  who will introduce the new Healthcare Sector Guide to the Professional Knowledge and Skills Base (PKSB).

 

Jo led an expert working group to revise the CILIP PKSB to reflect the skills we need now and going forward for  future-fit careers. The revision, funded by Health Education England, included the creation of a Healthcare Sector Guide to the revised PKSB. This guide is full of advice, guidance and resources about how best to apply the PKSB in the Healthcare sector.
