Thanks to funding from Arts Council England, CILIP has commissioned Julie’s Bicycle to develop and deliver two live webinars, both framed by the Green Libraries Manifesto and where libraries can most meaningfully affect change: - The first training will address change and action - which covers pledges 1 and 2 of the Manifesto, with 5 and 6 underpinning this
- The second training will focus on using libraries' voice and role in their communities - which covers pledges 3 and 4 of the Manifesto, with 5 and 7 underpinning this.
These FREE live trainings will take place on Thursday 22nd February from 12:00pm to 1:30pm and Tuesday 5th March from 12:00pm to 1:30pm, with priority given to public library staff in England. Both sessions will be recorded and made freely available to all library staff from late March. Part One - 22nd February Part Two - 5th March We recommend you attend both training sessions, if possible. Register to save your space for the first training session and receive the Zoom link by completing this form.
