Are you undertaking Professional Registration? Do you have any questions or things you want to clarify? CILIP East & West Midlands will be hosting a session where you can ask questions of a PRSO (Professional Support Registration Officer) and an Assessor from the Professional Registration Panel. The session is not intended to be an basic introduction to Professional Registration as sessions on that topic will be available separately but the PRSOs and the Assessor will be happy to answer any questions you have. Speakers Profiles

Alan Brine Deputy Director of Library and Learning Services at De Montfort University and Head of Archives and Resource Management. He has written “Continuing Professional Development: a guide for information professionals” and a “Handbook of Library Training Practice and Development”. He has been a member of CILIP (Chartered Institute for Library and Information Professionals) for many years and currently Chairs the Professional Registration Panel for many years and currently Chairs the Professional Registration Panel.

Carol Brooks has been involved with the CILIP awards system for many years.  She worked in libraries for over 40 years before setting up as a training consultant. She is PRSO for CILIP East Midlands.

Participants will need to register with an email address as we will be using the Zoom webinar platform. Upon registration, you will be sent the link to the Zoom session.
