CILIP Open Day - a Farewell to Ridgmount Street 

CILIP’s Charter is 125 years young next year and Ridgmount Street has been home to CILIP for over 50 years. It has been a base for our whole community: members, volunteers, staff and visitors. The home of hundreds of events, where thousands of connections and ideas were sparked.

After careful consideration, we are relocating. You are all invited to come and say “farewell” to Ridgmount Street. We are throwing the doors open to welcome all who want to visit the Ridgmount Street base on the 25th October. Join us for light refreshments, welcome presentations from our Chief Executive Nick Poole, enjoy an exhibition of items from our archives and share your memories of your visits here. This is an open free event.

The relocation gives us the opportunity to do things differently to continue to meet the needs of future generations of professionals. We have a careful plan to secure new premises appropriate to our future way of working. Our aim is to ensure that every member is able to benefit from their membership on equal terms, wherever they live and work.

At this event, we look forward to celebrating all that Ridgmount Street has meant to CILIP as a base, as we look forward to the next 125 years.
