In today’s ever-shifting landscape, it’s not enough to simply know the value of your library; you need to show it. Join us as we continue to discover the tools, strategies, and inspiration to demonstrate your library’s value in ways that resonate with your stakeholders and drive real-world outcomes.

Our engaging and hands-on hackathon is a follow-up session to our popular virtual workshop from October last year, “Understand and Demonstrate the Value of Your Library, with the output published in Research Information.

We’re taking it a step further, where you’ll collaborate face-to-face in Birmingham to create actionable, innovative solutions in groups that you can apply directly in your library and see what solutions we can come up with. We'll also be providing lunch so make sure you let us know about any dietary requirements. Together, we’ll move from understanding the value of libraries to actively showcasing it through tangible outcomes.

This event is for library professionals, advocates, and anyone passionate about showcasing the transformative power of libraries. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your advocacy efforts, build stakeholder support, or simply connect with others who share your vision, this is the event for you.

Let’s move beyond understanding the value of libraries—let’s demonstrate it, together.
