Challenge of Information and Data Literacy - Monday 16 June - 4pm to 5pm - open to all: no charge to attend. 

We will look at our latest challenges with a particular focus on information and data literacy. It's no longer just about finding information and working with data; it's about knowing how to assess it, trust it, and use it wisely.

For this Launch Network Meeting for the newly created CILIP Midlands we have four guests joining us:

• Ayub Kahn (Libraries Connected and Worcestershire Libraries)
• Jane Pothecary (Kings College, CILIP London and expert on information and data literacy)
• Ruth Carlyle (Head of Knowledge and Library Services – NHS).

We expect to have representatives from a number of Special Interest Groups including CILIP RPG (for those outside full time work) and CILIP Youth Libraries Group at this Network event.
