Icepops: International Copyright-literacy event with playful opportunities for practitioners and scholars
Tuesday 3rd April 2018 10am-4.30pm followed by social events
Icepops is a one day event at the University of Liverpool and will be the first satellite event run as part of the Lilac conference. Devised by Chris Morrison and Jane Secker (the UK Copyright Literacy team) and run in conjunction with the CILIP Information Literacy Group, the day will include key note speakers, a world cafe, an opportunity to play copyright games including the Publishing Trap and a playful copyright hackathon!
The day is aimed at copyright specialists and non-specialists, librarians, learning technologists, educational developers, teachers, lecturers, publishers and creators involved in copyright education. The focus is on all levels of education from schools to higher education and continuing professional development. UK and international delegates are invited to share their experiences with colleagues.

Speakers
The keynote speakers for the day will be Professor Ronan Deazley, Professor of Copyright Law at Queens University Belfast, and Alex Moseley, Educational Designer at the University of Leicester.
