The CLSIG AGM will be on 14th May 2019 at 6.30pm. Following the AGM, we will have an intriguing seminar presented by Ian Rodwell, Head of Client Knowhow Services at Linklaters: What's the Story?
When we talk about knowledge and information, we often forget that one of the devices we use to communicate what we know - and what we have experienced - has been around for millennia. It is the humble story. And storytelling does not stop when we enter our places of work. Indeed, some might say it proliferates.
In this interactive session, Ian Rodwell explains how stories help us make sense of organisational life and act as maps or scripts for negotiating new or unfamiliar situations. Ian will also invite us to explore the world of ‘liminal space’ and see how place and location affect storytelling and innovation.
The seminar will be followed by time to socialise and network with drinks and nibbles until approx 9pm.
