International Bright "Young" Things: a look at library support for trans-national education (TNE)

You are warmly invited to join our free Informal by Zoom to hear Jamie Finch, International Librarian at Cardiff Met University and former Chair CILIP ILIG, exploring his library work supporting trans-national education (TNE) in the UK, both pre and post-pandemic.

Jamie will explore the landscape and value of TNE to the UK economy and how TNE is delivered at Cardiff Met.  He will compare and contrast library support for TNE pre and post-pandemic, particularly the impact that COVID had and the challenges or "pain points" for the library in this.

He will suggest ways in which library support can be rebooted post-pandemic, before launching the new JISC discussion list called LIS-PARTNERSHIPS which aims to disseminate best practice in TNE support by librarians.
