You are warmly invited to join our Informal by Zoom, to hear Rachel Bickley grew up in the UK and worked for multiple years in academic libraries in Bristol, Bedfordshire, Leeds and London before moving to Adelaide, South Australia in August 2022. She began working as a Liaison Librarian at the University of Adelaide, before moving into the Manager, Research Engagement role in the same team. Rachel will share her experience of emigrating to a new country and taking on a role which is both familiar and totally new at the same time, and offer an insight into the current landscape of Australian academic libraries.
