Based on the findings of an online survey and our own experiences of networking and socialising at conferences, this workshop offers an array of practical hints and tips aimed at helping anyone who has ever felt daunted by the prospect of having to speak to strangers in a professional capacity. There will be opportunities to practise networking, using board games and other displacement activities as a tool to open conversations and promote discussion. This workshop is suitable for people at all stages of their career.
