Curated Content: using digital collections to tell stories with impact

Delivering culture and heritage to audiences online has become increasingly important in 2020.

CILIP Cymru Wales (CCW) and People's Collection Wales (PCW) invite librarians and information professionals to an online PCW session on creating stories with impact by bringing together digital and digitised materials in People's Collection Wales.

People’s Collection Wales would like to recruit up to 5 delegates to help us shape this session. If you are planning to come to the session then why not volunteer? We will hold an informal pre-session meeting of up to 1 hour, and ask for some post session feedback. In return, you can tell your employer you will be getting a bespoke training session, for free! Just get in touch

The session is free and open to all.

This session will provide a useful oversight for all library and information professionals in Wales hoping to improve user engagement with digital collections. It will be particularly useful for public library and archives staff with local studies collections.

Presenters:

PCW: Tom Pert, Gruffydd Jones, Rheinallt Ffoster-Jones Jessica Roberts

Facilitators: Amy Staniforth, CILIP Cymru Wales
