Celebrate Libraries Week 2018 with a free walking tour introducing the Capital’s fascinating library history. The walk is organised and sponsored by CILIP Library and Information History Group. From Bloomsbury to the City, Alice Ford-Smith (Bernard Quaritch Ltd) will guide you through the ghosts of libraries and book collectors past.

The walk’s meeting point will be the open-air entrance lobby of Senate House at 11am. The tour will finish not far from Blackfriars and Chancery Lane stations approximately 90 minutes later. Please be ready for no breaks, and the uncertainties of English weather.

This event is open to all newcomers of the Library & Information History Group’s walks but pre-booking is essential as space is limited to 25 attendees.
