Knowledge management and information management – why we confuse them (and why we shouldn’t)
Knowledge management and information management – why we confuse them (and why we shouldn’t)
Confusion has long existed between KM and IM. To the uninitiated, the difference between the two is unclear. Even those in the know sometimes use terms such as data, information and knowledge interchangeably. Why? Why does it matter? What can we do about
it?
Join this interactive webinar to find out where the confusion comes from, why it is important to distinguish between KM and IM, and to discuss ideas for ending the confusion.
We will explore these issues through anecdotes and
by reviewing the development of KM and IM – including AI and machine learning. Judy will invite you to share and reflect on your own experiences and ideas for ending the confusion, so there will be opportunities to join in if you want to.
Please note this webinar will be 1.5 hours long to enable participation from attendees.
