Join the PMLG for a free, unique tour of the Wellcome Library on Thursday 30th May, 11.00am - 12.30pm. Founded on the collections of Henry Solomon Wellcome, the Wellcome Library seeks to explore the connections between medicine, life and art in the past, present and future.
In 2005 the Wellcome Library was awarded ‘Designated status’ by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council. The award is given to museum and library collections considered to be an important part of the UK’s cultural and artistic heritage. Since then, the Wellcome Library’s collections have continually been added to, through purchase, gift and deposit.
Numbers for this tour are limited to a maximum of 15 people, so please book in advance to avoid any disappointment.
