Access to Research: Tips to help users and help your library

Participants will understand the rationale behind A2R, learn how to help users with their most common question about using the service and how best to answer FAQs that are posed about it. Participants will also hear examples of how librarians can make use of A2R to help fulfil other objectives including the Universal Health Offer.

This webinar is aimed at Public Library workers, as Access to Research is a scheme available to Public Libraries only. If you don’t work in a public library but you would like to hear about the scheme do join in the session.

Biography

Robert Stein is Head of Communications at Publishers' Licensing Services (PLS), one of the not-for-profit organisations behind A2R. Over the last year Robert has re-launched the scheme and worked with librarians to increase the number of local authorities offering the service as well as developing more publicity materials for it.

Dave Lloyd (co-presenter) is Service Development Manager for Coventry Libraries and Information Service.
