Stepping into leadership: Online resources for leadership in public libraries
A joint webinar with CILIP and the Carnegie UK Trust covering the Stepping into Leadership development resources on leadership and innovation in public libraries. The webinar will cover the background to the resources, a demo of how to navigate the content online and take part in activities from the materials on innovation and seeing new opportunities to do things in different ways – something that is particularly important at this time. Participants will understand who the resources are for, feel confident navigating them and feel inspired to improve their personal effectiveness as leaders.

Biography
Jenny Peachey, Senior Policy and Development Officer at the Carnegie UK Trust, leads the Trust’s work on libraries. Rachel Heydecker, Policy and Development Officer at the Carnegie UK Trust works with Jenny on the Trust’s library programmes.
Both Jenny and Rachel have worked on the Carnegie Library Lab programme which piloted an online learning programme on leadership, which has been adapted to be a freely available self-directed learning experience.
