Bromley House Library, founded in 1816, is a flourishing independent lending library situated in the centre
of Nottingham and is one of the few remaining subscription libraries in the country. In addition to the many
fine reading rooms spread over three floors of a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse, there is a beautiful
walled garden, which is one of only two remaining in the city centre.
