CILIP Unconference '24
 
Plans are already underway for CILIP Unconference '24, the residential weekend coordinated by CILIP RPG, which will take place in October 2024 in the beautiful city of Glasgow. The Unconference weekend will run from Friday 4 October to Monday 7 October and be held at the Glynhill Hotel & Spa

CILIP RPG is working with CILIP Scotland and CILIP K&IM Group  to run a wide variety of activities - talks, visits to libraries and museums, entertainment and workshops - which will make this Unconference something to remember.

Additional visits to libraries and other places of interest such as the Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum, Dunfermline are being planned for the days following the CILIP Unconference. Information to follow later. 
 
CPD 

The weekend will be of interest to CILIP members and colleagues from all sectors.  It will earn you 8 CPD hours and improve skills from the following sections of the CILIP Professional Knowledge and Skills Base (PKSB):  3.2 Understanding information seeking behaviour | 6.1 Knowledge management | 10.4 Engaging with stakeholders | 11.4 Influencing key stakeholders | 11.6 Partnership development | 11.8 Reflective practice | 13.8 Networking skills | Improve understanding of wider library, data, information and knowledge sector context and links with galleries, archives, and museums

Full Unconference delegate
Includes all speakers, workshops, networking, visits and three nights 4* accommodation, dinner, bed and breakfast with light lunch and refreshments on the Sunday
Rate no additional charge for single occupancy)
Full rate after 19/8/2024 £475 per person
Day delegate
Day1, Saturday 5 October day delegate - £100 including coach travel, evening meal and speaker
Day 2, Sunday 6 October day delegate - £125 for the full day including light lunch, workshops, evening meal and speaker
Both Day 1 and Day 2 -  to include visits, speakers, workshops, light lunch on the Sunday and evening meals on both days -£175
