Youth Libraries Group Conference 2020
November 16th - 22nd
The Youth Libraries Group National Conference will return virtually in November 2020
Taking place from 16th - 22nd of November, wherever you are, the conference will explore the importance of visual literacy and reading to library provision, so as to enhance the impact they are able to have on children, young people and their life
chances. Research will be presented by leading academics and a selection of exciting and innovative authors and illustrators will provide inspiration.
The conference will extend across the whole week to avoid screen fatigue for our delegates and all sessions will be archived and will be available to view at your leisure after the conference has concluded
The conference will also include our membership's celebration of our very own Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Medals and the presentation of our honorary memberships, the YLG Award and the inaugural Publisher of the Year, making this an
unmissable opportunity for all those interested in libraries and children's literature.
We look forward to welcoming you!
