Introduction to Natural Language Processing - Webinar
Reverse mentoring for equality, diversity and inclusion
In 2019, The King’s Fund ran a pilot reverse mentoring scheme as part of their diversity and inclusion programme. The aim of this scheme was to contribute to changing the organisational culture and to enhance senior leaders’ understanding of lived experiences of staff in underrepresented communities.
In this webinar, Hong-Anh will share her experience of being involved in the programme as a mentor and attendees will:
- Learn how mentoring can contribute to equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in your organisation
- Develop their understanding of how power dynamics, hierarchy and unconscious bias play out in organisations and how reverse mentoring can help to start to address this
- Understand how becoming a mentor contributes to personal and professional development for both mentors and mentees
