Visit to Brontë Parsonage Museum Library
Friday 13th July 2018
Curator Sarah Laycock has kindly offered to give a free talk for interested librarians, focused on the material held in the research library and museum collection, how the collection was acquired, and how it is cared for, including issues such as storage, conservation, and the annual closed period. The visit will also include viewing original Brontë manuscripts.
To reach the Parsonage, you can take a direct bus to Haworth from Bradford Interchange, Keighley railway station or Hebden Bridge railway station. Parking is available at two nearby pay-and-display car parks on Church Street and Sun Street. Please check their 'Getting here' page for more details.
There are only 10 places available, so please join the waiting list if the event is full.
You do not have to be a CILIP member to register for this event, but if you are, please sign in to the website before clicking 'Book now'.
