CILIP London and LIKE present: A sparkling summer stroll in Hatton Garden

LIKE and CILIP London are excited to be collaborating on this in-person event!

Today, we know Hatton Garden as the place to shop in London for jewellery and perhaps also for the Hatton Garden Heist. But the area has a far longer history, dating back hundreds of years. It's been home to medieval bishops, influential Tudor aristocrats and traders from all across the Globe.

On our summer stroll, we will visit the places where the notorious and the noteworthy lived and worked. We'll learn more about their fascinating stories before adjourning to the Cittie of York for a well-deserved drink to chat about what we've seen and how we're all getting on.

Our guide is Kirstie Shedden. Kirstie is a fully qualified Westminster Guide and experienced in guiding in Westminster and the City of London. With a degree in archaeology and expertise in teaching history, she delivers informative well-researched walks which bring to life the many characters who lived and worked in London.
