1.30 to 2.30 p.m. Ken Chad - The Library Technology Ecosystem: Where We Are Now, What Does the Future Hold?
.For many years library technology was sequestered in a narrow domain characterised by library specific technology and standards. Librarians now play a growing role in support for research, open science, teaching and learning, digital skills, learning analytics, student success, wellbeing, and other areas. It’s now more appropriate to speak of a library technology ‘ecosystem’. Ken will analyse how this might develop in the future and how technology might evolve.
