                            UKeiG CPD Zoom Course: Video Marketing for Libraries: How to Create, Promote and Evaluate

                                OverviewVideo is an increasingly essential tool to market library services and engage users, both on traditional platforms like YouTube and Vimeo, and on social media across Instagram, TikTok and Twitter. This hands-on workshop aims to familiarise delegates with several styles of video and give you a chance to try out a variety of useful tools.

                                         Topics covered include: •	Creating and maintaining a library YouTube channel, accessibility, thumbnails, tags and descriptions, as well as using analytics to learn what
                                            your users respond best to•	Exploring examples of, and discussing how best to create, Virtual Tours, Explainer Video, Pop Culture Pastiches and Study-With-Me videos
 •	Using PowerPoint for screen-capture and other video types.
 
 Delegates will have the opportunity to try out freely available video-creation apps. There will be time experiment with:•	PowToon, a hugely
                                            versatile tool which allows you to create everything from fun cartoon style animations to slick explainers to full tour videos
 •	The free version of Adobe Cloud Express
                                            (formerly Adobe Spark) which can create videos suitable for YouTube or Instagram, as well as various other marketing outputs like graphics and flyers.
 
 Please be reassured that delegates won't need a camera or a microphone for this session. Although you will be welcome to use them; this course will explore camera
 
 Who should attend? All librarians, IT and information professionals who publicise and promote services on behalf of their institution, and who want to market their resources and services more strategically, efficiently and effectively
