Stuart (he/him) began working for Libraries NI in 2013 whilst studying English Literature. Seeking to progress as a librarian he embarked on a Library and Information Management post graduate course. Here he was exposed to CILIP and all it offers us library professional. Realising he could potentially contribute, he joined the CILIP Ireland committee as the Representative for Students and New Professionals. This has provided me with opportunities to meet and learn from interesting and experienced individuals from different library backgrounds and many chances to contribute to different projects in the sphere of libraries.
