March 9th, 11.30am – 12.30pm One hour workshop via Zoom This workshop will explore the science behind mindfulness, the practice of gratitude and re-framing our thinking. It will incorporate space to practice and explore together in a safe environment and to ask questions. If you have an existing mindfulness practice in any form and want to know more about why it is useful, this workshop is for you. Equally, you do not need to have any experience of mindfulness to access the workshop - in fact, you may well be new to it or indeed a sceptic. Outcomes include: - Increased knowledge of the science of gratitude and mindfulness
- The ability to practice mindfulness both within the session and beyond
- The ability to re-frame thoughts which are not serving us
Spaces available: 12 Cost: Free Please note: you must be a CILIP member, and part of the CILIP NW network to register attendance. Participants can join via laptop or on a mobile device, please arrive in good time to ensure your tech is working. Participants will be emailed a link to join the session 24 hours before.
