Libraries have always been vital places for homeless individuals and the needs of this community have only increased with the cost of living crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic. Join Kavan Stafford, CILIP Scotland Trustee and Information Officer at Glasgow’s Mitchell Library, for a discussion of his research into staff perceptions of homeless users and the barriers they face to using library services, as well as the measures he has put in place over the past twelve months to make the Mitchell as welcoming as possible as we move into a post-COVID world.

This free online event is open to all CILIP members.
