LIRG's Research Methods: Lunchtime Series 

Introduction to research data management for librarians

The Library and Information Research Group is delighted to bring you a series of CPD events during 2023, which includes a programme of online events introducing LIS practitioners to workplace research and a series of research methods lunchtime webinars.

 

This event, dedicated to Introducing  research data management for librarians, is part of LIRG's Lunchtime Series on research methods.

Our guest speaker for this event is Leo Appleton, Chair of LIRG and Senior University Teacher, Information School, University of Sheffield. 


Each session will run virtually on Zoom and start at 12pm.


Session dates and titles - “LIRG's Research Methods: Lunchtime events series" : 

Friday 19th May, 2023 - Focus groups
Friday 16th June, 2023 - Surveys and survey design
Friday 1st September, 2023 - Statistical analysis for LIS researchers
Friday 15th September, 2023 - Introduction to research data management for librarians

More sessions will be added to the webinar series in autumn.
