CILIPS SNPC presents Saturday Morning Q&A with CILIP Vice President Sue Williamson MBE.

The CILIPS Students & New Professionals Community is very excited to present our first event of 2023!

Are you interested in working with public library services? Then get your notepads and coffees ready: From 11-12 on the 29th April we are welcoming CILIP Vice President Sue Williamson MBE for a Saturday morning talk and Q&A about all things public libraries!

As the former director for libraries at Arts Council England, Sue will not only give us valuable insights into her varied career, but will also open up the floor for discussion. We will learn how Sue’s career progressed, what challenges she faced and how important local libraries are within their communities. With years of experience in the field, Sue will outline her project work and show us her year-long commitment to spread the love of reading.

Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to get some first-hand insights into public library work and get to know CILIP's Vice President!

As this event will include a Q&A session, please think about any questions you would like to ask Sue beforehand and bring them along (we can ask them anonymously on your behalf during the event if preferred).

This event will take place online, at 11am on 29th April. The Zoom link will be sent to all attendees closer to the time.

The event is free. Please register here.
