Let's Roll: The Wellbeing Benefits of running role-play games like Dungeons and Dragons in Your School or Public Library20 June 2023, 6.00pm - 7.00pmDelivered via Zoom
Are you intrigued by the idea of running role-play and table-top games such as Dungeons and Dragons in your library but are unsure where to start? Join Lucas Maxwell, School Librarian and Author of Let's Roll as he walks you through how to play and the wellbeing benefits that these games provide!
Role-play games such as Dungeons and Dragons can create a safe, welcoming community within your library, bring in new faces and engage reluctant readers.
This webinar will focus on two things: the wellbeing benefits of role-play games such as Dungeons and Dragons, of which there are many; and how to actually run these types of programme. This session will provide clear, practical advice on running role-play games in a public or school library and why it is important. Lucas will also discuss how to make the games engaging and interesting and discuss testimonials from both staff and students as to the benefits they have experienced. There will be time at the end of the session for a Q&A so that you can put your questions forward to Lucas.
Please note, this event is in no way affiliated with Dungeons & Dragons.
