Join Libraries Engagement Manager from the Royal National Institute for Blind People, Lara Marshall and the RNIB’s Tech for Life team, as they share tips for making your digital provision more accessible for blind or partially sighted users of your library
service. This session will take place on the 28th of August from 11am-12pm, and will take place via zoom. Please register at the link above to receive the zoom link in advance of the session.
Lara's role is to empower library services to provide the best service they can for BPS (blind and partially sighted) users. Lara visits libraries all over the UK – public, academic, research and more – and is developing a comprehensive offer
from the RNIB to all libraries. The starting point is to enrich and support things already in place. It makes sense to partner up with the work that’s already been done and build on successes. Libraries already provide accessible stock in the form
of e-audio, e-books, physical talking books and large print or are able to signpost to places where it’s available.
