CILIP London: Students and New Professionals Mixer

Come join your fellow London-based Library Studies students, Graduate Trainees, and those who have recently (in the last 3 years) started a new library or information professionals job for a relaxed mixer over drinks and laughter in an environment where for once everyone understands what you are doing and why you are doing it.

Come for the fun, leave with new friends and contacts to get you through the next years ahead, and hear from some people who have recently (or not so recently or not at all) finished their degrees/certifications/charterships on how their careers have gone and are going. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A CILIP MEMBER TO ATTEND, but might very well want to become one after the evening is over.

Any CILIP member can join our community groups, attend events and/or get involved with the committee and help shape the future of their work...

CILIP London Member Network is the representative body for library and information professionals living or working in London. The Committee meets 4 to 6 times throughout the year and we provide a programme of events, talks, visits, training sessions and social events, for our members.

Our purpose is to act as a coordinating body for CILIP members and the wider information profession in London and we aim to do this through the provision of a programme of events and initiatives while liaising with other library and information-related bodies active in London.
