 The meeting will begin with a talk from CILIP CEO, Louis Coffait-Gunn, detailing CILIP's vision for the future and there will be an opportunity to ask questions. This will be followed by the AGM and the event will finish with speaker, Jo Morgan (BA, PGCE, PGCert) is a multi-award-winning professional speaker, trainer and author. During her 15 years in teaching, she gained national attention and acclaim for her groundbreaking work on Relationships and Sex Education, LGBTQ+ inclusion and Wellbeing.
Since then, she has been on a mission to spread the success of her initiatives to schools and universities across the UK and beyond. As the Founder and CEO of Engendering Change LTD, Jo leads a team of specialist consultants who, through inspirational training
and community projects, empower individuals and organisations to rationalise and embrace a commitment to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion and Wellbeing. Jo is the winner of an Inspirational Women of Portsmouth Award, for Education (2023) and Best RSE teacher, UK (2020). Jo was also shortlisted for European Diversity Awards (2023), British Diversity Awards (2023), European Diversity Awards (2022) Jo's first book Empowering Relationships and Sex Education was published by Routledge in June 2024.
