Cornelia is Group Leader of Sustainable Finance & Investing, Data & Analytics, at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). In her current role, Cornelia runs a global business with a significant footprint across the financial community
focused on solving sustainability related challenges for investors, corporates, banks and other market participants, through world class data and analytics based solutions.
A frequent speaker at industry events on market data and information as well as sustainable finance, Cornelia is a chartered information professional (CILIP), FIA qualified and has completed an MBA at Imperial College, London.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from Lund University, Sweden.
Alison Brettle is Professor of Health Information and Evidence Based Practice and Director of the Centre for Social and Health Research, School of Health and Society, University of Salford. Alison has been a qualified health information
professional for over 25 years. She has an extensive research record including research evaluating the impact and value of libraries which has contributed to the recent value proposition report on NHS funded Library and Knowledge
Services “A Gift of Time” as well as tools to measure the impact of health libraries. Current projects involve using social media to improve information and support to patients. Alison is one of the founding members of the international
Evidence Based Library and Information Practice (EBLIP) Movement and helped bring the EBLIP conference to the UK in 2011 (University of Salford) and in 2019 (University of Strathclyde). She has undertaken a range of roles within
the Open Access EBLIP Journal since its inception in 2006. She has been involved in CILIP’s Library and Information Research Group (LIRG) for a number of years and is currently Chair and passionately believes in bringing research
into library practice.
Binni has worked for more than 20 years in public, academic, and special libraries in the UK and in Sweden, and is currently Digital Resources Librarian at Chatham House, a policy institute in international affairs based in London.
They are Co-Chair of the Steering Group which is overseeing the creation of the CILIP LGBTQ+ Network to be launched in 2020. Binni is also a trade union activist and is particularly interested in the equality and diversity work
that trade unions and professional organisations can do for and with LGBTQ+ communities. They also co-created a list of LGBTQIA resources for library and information workers.

market. Simon was President of SLA Europe in 2019, the European chapter of the Special Libraries Association.
Liz Jolly has been Chief Librarian at the British Library since September 2018. She is responsible for teams delivering core activities such as collection development; services for researchers, learners, businesses and entrepreneurs;
research strategy and digital scholarship; an extensive cultural programme of exhibitions, events, and the Library’s online presence.
Liz has over thirty years’ experience in a variety of institutions in the university sector, most recently as Director of Student and Library Services at Teesside University. An Honorary Professor at Teesside, Liz is a Principal Fellow
of the Higher Education Academy and a Fellow both of the CILIP and the RSA. She was Chair of IATUL, the UK university library directors’ group, from 2014-16 and is currently a member of the Board of Governors at the University
of Portsmouth. Liz is Vice Chair of the IATUL Content Strategy Group and a member of the Editorial Board of the New Review of Academic Librarianship.
Surash leads the EMEA region for Telesign, helping brands manage their digital identity and fraud prevention needs on an international basis.
In previous roles, he managed the RealNetworks’ Messaging / NLP (Natural Language Processing) business globally. Prior to RealNetworks, Surash co-founded mGage (now part of Kaleyra), holding roles of Chief Strategy Officer & COO
for Europe. He has an MBA from London Business School.
Corin is in their first professional role as a Subject Librarian at Arts University Bournemouth, supporting art, architecture, and design courses. They were recently elected Secretary of ARCLIB, the association of architecture librarians,
and are currently working towards professional registration.
Having graduated from their MA Librarianship in January 2023 - Corin was honoured to be recognised as one of the CILIP 125 within their first year on the job.
Their passion for equality and diversity shines through in their work at AUB. They chair the LGBTQ+ Staff Network and one of their most recent projects was a revamp of the religion section in their library.
Janet has over 34 years’ experience of working in academic libraries and has been University Librarian, Ulster University, since April 2013 and is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Against the backdrop of Brexit,
COVID-19, spiralling eBook costs and the shifting landscape of HE, she oversaw the design and delivery of a new library at Ulster University’s new city centre campus. Janet led on the development of a vision for the Library Service
which led to the introduction of new services and facilities as the Library Service embraced new ways of working. A Chartered member of CILIP, Janet is also a qualified coach and mentor with a keen interest in the changing roles
and skills of academic librarians.
Stephen is an information management leader with over 30 years experience in the financial services industry having been Global Head of Business Information Services at a leading Investment Bank. He now runs his own consultancy (SmartIM
Ltd) focused on customer success and information management. He has been a CILIP member since 1987 and achieved chartered status in 1991. Prior to becoming a CILIP trustee, Stephen was vice chair of CILIP’s Knowledge & Information
Management Group. He is a member of SLA, served as President of their European Chapter in 2013, he is 2021 Conference Chair for SLA Europe. He regularly contributes to industry events and journals. In his spare time, Stephen is
a school trustee, a keen golfer, likes to vacation in Portugal with his family, and enjoys long walks “discussing” life, the universe and everything with Reggie, his Airedale terrier.
Andrew is Director of Library Services at Goldsmiths, University of London. Andrew joined Goldsmiths in 2023 and provides leadership and strategic direction for the library.
Prior to this his experience included roles in various further and higher education institutions, where he began his career working in library systems and IT.
Andrew’s professional interests include the role of academic libraries in widening participation in higher education, working-class experiences of libraries and education, and the application of critical librarianship to the
theory and practice of library leadership.
Kate was appointed University Librarian for the University of Bath in 2012. Originally a Theology graduate from the University of Manchester, with an MA in Library & Information Studies, she has worked in libraries since the 1980s.
Kate is a Fellow of CILIP and the RSA and has a close relationship with CILIP - she was CILIP President in 2022. Her presidential theme of Workplace Development reflected a longstanding commitment in her career and voluntary activities.
Kate has held a number of senior leadership positions, including Chair of Governors, Justice of the Peace, Lecturer in Information & Library Management, Executive Board Member of IATUL and Chair of SW regional library groupings.
Jonathan is charity finance professional, trustee and independent committee member. Jonathan’s professional interests cover a wide range of issues, including charity finance, risk, governance, systems and investments. Financial leadership
and coaching are two subjects he is passionate about.
In his current role, Jonathan produces the annual accounts and manages the external audit process, including liaison with the audit manager and Partner at the Daughters of the Cross of Liege. His previous roles include Head of
Finance at the British Dental Association and Management Accountant at the National Autistic Society.
Sue worked in public libraries in a variety of roles for 25 years, finishing her operational career as Head of Library Services for St Helens Borough Council. She then took on the strategic role of Director, Libraries for Arts Council England. In that
role she chaired the English Public Libraries Strategic Working Group, supporting the growth of strategic sectoral partnership and work on major projects such as Accreditation, the work on the Single Digital Presence (LibraryOn)
and the CILIP led projects on Working Internationally and Green Libraries. She also commissioned reports on public libraries impact on employability and the impact of the Summer Reading Challenge and supported the Big Jubilee Read.
For her services to Public Libraries, she was awarded the MBE in the Queen’s Jubilee Honours. Following her retirement, she has continued to serve libraries as Vice President and then President of CILIP in 2023-2024 and as Vice
Chair of the Board of The Reading Agency. She believes passionately in the role that public libraries can play in driving the agendas of education, recreation, information and culture and in the ability of libraries across all
sectors to work together to show the value that they add to society. In her spare time, she is a passionate reader and enjoys music, theatre and film.
I am Director of Learning Resources at Oxford Brookes University, responsible for the library and digital education services. Before moving to Oxford in 1992 I held senior posts in the libraries of the London School of Economics and
the University of Sheffield, where I did my MA in Librarianship many years ago. Between 2014 and 2018 I was chair of the M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries.
Anthony Adeloye, a Librarian and academic researcher, is the former Chief Librarian at the Nigeria High Commission Library in London. Currently part of the Teaching Associate pool at the University of Cumbria, England. His information
and library career spans academic and special libraries and local government. He holds a Master of Science degree in Information Science, a Master of Philosophy degree in Archive Studies and library studies from University College
(UCL) the University of London, and a Ph.D. from Aberystwyth. He is a Chartered Member of the Institute, and his Special Interest Groups include the Knowledge and Information Management Group and Professional Registration Mentors.
He was previously an ALA Accessor. He believes that Libraries and information workers are a positive force within society. His research interests focus on knowledge management, digital libraries, and the relationship between academic
research and storytelling as a research method, along with information use and needs. He has a wide knowledge of research methods. He is a Trustee member of the Southwark Diocesan Board of Education, serving on its Board of Further
Education and Higher Education.
