Honorary Fellowships 2021

CILIP is delighted to invite nominations for the 2021 Honorary Fellowship. Members are invited to put forward nominations by the close of play on Wednesday 30th June using the criteria and nominations form available from our Honorary Fellowship page.

Honorary Fellowship is the highest recognition that CILIP can offer as a professional body. It is a way for us to acknowledge people who have made a lasting difference to the wider world either through their work as a knowledge or information professional or librarian or more broadly through their support for our professional community.

This year, we are hoping to acknowledge some of the people – both in our profession and more broadly – who have gone ‘above and beyond’ during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nominees do not need to be a CILIP member, so if you know someone who has made a real difference, either through their work as an information professional or in promoting better use of information in society, please do put forward a nomination!

All nominations are made in strict confidence and the Honorary Fellows for 2021 will be announced at the CILIP AGM.
