Honorary Fellowship
Honorary Fellowship is the highest recognition for a library, archives, knowledge and information management professionals in the industry. It is a way for CILIP to acknowledge the people who have made a lasting difference to the
wider world either through their professional role or work, or more broadly through their support for our professional community.
Members of the profession, who have made a particularly important contribution over a long period of time can also be nominated, as a reflection of their respect and regard for their colleagues. Honorary Membership is also
the means by which CILIP can recognise those people who are not in the information profession, but have supported and contributed to its development and profile.

Mentor of the Year award
CILIP has over 250 mentors who actively share their time and knowledge to support the career development of others who want to improve their skills and experience. mentors actively share their time and knowledge to support
the career development and skills of others. For them, it a chance to share their wisdom and shape their sector.
Every year CILIP seeks nominations for Mentor of the Year, from mentees who are receiving support from a CILIP mentor to expand their knowledge and skills within the library, information and knowledge sector.
