Craig Martin is Subject Liaison Librarian for the Department of Information Studies, Arts & Sciences at University College London (UCL) East. Craig has been mentoring professional registration candidates for three years.

CILIP has over 250 mentors who actively share their time and knowledge to support the career development of others who want to improve their skills and experience. mentors actively share their time and knowledge to support the career development and skills of others. For them, it a chance to share their wisdom and shape their sector.

Every year CILIP seeks nominations for Mentor of the Year, from mentees who are receiving support from a CILIP mentor to expand their knowledge and skills within the library, information and knowledge sector.

Craig Martin is Subject Liaison Librarian for the Department of Information Studies, Arts & Sciences at University College London (UCL) East. Craig joined UCL in January 2022, having spent 7 years previously working as a Learning & Teaching Librarian.

A long-time member of CILIP, Craig has been a professional registration mentor since 2021.

Craig is recognised for successfully supporting the new apprenticeship conversion route to professional registration and therefore actively supporting new pathways into the profession through his breadth of expertise.
