New Chief Development Officer Appointed

Sonia Ramdhian has been appointed as Chief Development Officer from 7 July 2025. Sonia brings significant experience from across the library and information sector, both as a practitioner and most recently heading up sector development at CILIP.

Strategic Recruitment Underway

External recruitment is now underway for two pivotal roles:

Head of Sector Development - This open position fills Sonia's previous role and will continue to drive sector-wide initiatives and professional development.

Chief Digital Transformation & Growth Officer - A new interim position which will be advertised shortly, focused on modernising CILIP's digital capabilities and expanding our reach.

These appointments will help us deliver CILIPLearn, expand professional services, and transform the digital experience for members, volunteers and staff.
