My job within CILIP Pathways is to manage the day-to-day admin of End Point Assessments both for candidates and for assessors. I previously worked in public libraries and in my spare time I love reading, playing video games, and wrangling
my warring cat and dog.
As Communities & Partnerships Manager, I manage the Communities Team who support our amazing 33 volunteer-led Member Networks and represent CILIP in Wales and Northern Ireland. I also help to ensure that employers and educators are
aware of, and engage with, our valuable Employer Partner and Learning Partner Schemes. Prior to joining CILIP in July 2019, I worked in information, knowledge and library roles. These included the higher education, professional services
and business support sectors. I joined CILIP as I'm a key advocate of the sector. Outside CILIP, I enjoy walking, cycling, baking and have been known to call the odd pub quiz.
As CILIP's Advertising Manager since 2007, I have looked after the CILIP Job Board, advertising in Information Professional magazine and the Buyers' Guide Directory and the Enterprise Partner programme. I have over 20 years of B2B sales
experience and previously worked for Blackwells, Associated New Media and the Evening Standard. Prior to that, I lived and worked for seven years in Turkey.
In my role as community development manager for England I support CILIP communities through a range of events and learning and development opportunities. Outside of work I like to engage in creative activities, and enjoy theatre and musical
performances, and exploring the outdoors on walks and hikes with my family.
As the Professional Services Development Manager at CILIP, my responsibilities cover professional registration, accreditation and apprenticeships. I oversee the end point assessment service delivered through CILIP Pathways. I have worked
within the information and knowledge sector since 2004 firstly with TFPL in recruitment, then heading up training and events, then as Head of KIM Consultancy. Most recently, before joining CILIP I worked for Jinfo in commercial and
customer facing roles. I am joint editor of the Business Information Review a role which I have held since 2014.
As Head of People & Operations my responsibilities range from talent acquisition and development to employee engagement and compliance. My role is about aligning HR strategies with CILIPs overarching goals to grow and improve their
services through a talented, diverse, and inclusive workforce. As an Associate Member of the CIPD I value ongoing learning and bring experience from education and the third sector. Outside work. I enjoy live music, theatre and beach
walks with my family and dog.
I recently joined CILIP as Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive and Governance Secretary.
My role is to provide support and assistance to the CEO, managing a busy calendar and timetable of governance meetings in conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer and acting as the first point of contact for stakeholders.
As a Community Development Manager, I work with Member Networks and CILIP communities to ensure sector and workforce development needs and priorities are supported. I am a chartered librarian with over fifteen years of experience in a
variety of library sectors. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoying walks in the Northern Ireland countryside.
Emily Cross BA (Hons) MA is a qualified librarian and English graduate currently working at CILIP. In her role as Professional Services Officer Emily is passionate about supporting professional registration candidates to compile their submissions with confidence. Emily works closely with both the panel of assessors and the professional registration support officers.
I'm CILIP's Business Development Director, responsible for delivering the new growth culture' at CILIP, delivering the whole strategic and transactional pipeline for all individual and organisational CILIP membership products and services.
When I'm not working, I'll be spending time with my family, I have a young daughter so my hands are full. I also enjoy watching sports and travelling.
My main duties at CILIP are the processing of income, e.g. cheques, BACS, bank statements. Outside of work I enjoy watching various sports, Netball, Football, Cricket, Formula One, Tennis. I do enjoy reading, and love partying.

My role as the Associate Project Manager is to support the Research and Development Team in organising all activities necessary to drive forward a variety of projects for CILIP and the library sector. Having worked within the education
and charity sector, together with my degree in Business Administration, I hope to bring my knowledge and skills to enhance our work as a team. I am from Mombasa, Kenya and I enjoy reading, photography, visiting bookshops and baking.

information sector, I want to be a strong voice for our membership and ensure that I communicate their value in everything I do. In my spare time, I am passionate about writing, painting and caring for my rescue animals, and I am currently
working on my second novel.
Louis is responsible for championing CILIP members and the profession, and ensuring the talented CILIP team keeps performing and evolving to meet our members' needs across all sectors. He is passionate about helping members to inform decision-making
at all levels and in all sectors of society, to support people to learn, and to enrich our culture.
Louis has worked in government, research organisations, professional associations, universities, trade bodies and the press, and has volunteered on the boards of education-based charities. He brings experience of a broad range of educational
provision, influencing policy, quality membership service provision and access to publications to CILIP.
I look after CILIP's event portfolio, working with our amazing wider team to produce CILIP's Conference, Copyright Conference, Supplier Showcases and webinar series. My background is in conferences, expo's and trainings in the arts education
and wellbeing sectors. Outside of work you'll find me at yoga, playing piano and trying to develop green fingers at my local community permaculture garden.

As CILIP's IT Manager, I'm responsible for the management of our IT infrastructure and systems working closely with our managed support provider to ensure all IT issues are resolved in a timely manner with minimal disruption to business
operations. In addition, as a digital champion, I am currently supporting my colleagues in optimising both existing systems and planned implementations via our Digital improvement strategy.
In my role as the Director for Research and Development, I lead the delivery of CILIP's diverse portfolio of projects and programmes that focus on creating an evidence base to drive forward innovation, best practice and knowledge sharing
for the sector. I have a background in Communication Design and Social Innovation and am passionate about working with communities to create positive social change.
I joined CILIP in 2011 bringing my print and design skills to the publications team. I design and layout Information Professional magazine and associated print and digital materials for CILIP departments and groups. Originally from Scotland,
my background is in newspapers and commercial print.
As the editor of Information Professional I take a hands-on role in writing and researching news and features, as well as looking at new ways we can support the profession and our members. We are always happy to hear about your stories,

As Information Professional's journalist my role is to research and write news and features for the magazine and website. Whether speaking to contacts, conducting interviews, tweeting or attending events, my aim is to build up my knowledge

As a Membership Officer, I assist with incoming queries via e-mail and telephone from current and prospective members regarding CILIP membership. I have an MA in Museums, Galleries, and Contemporary Culture, and a BA in Fine Art. On the
side, I am a culture vulture who is always with my wife, along with traveling, reading, as well as attending the next musical or theatre performance in town.
As the Member Finance Officer, my role is to help members with everything related to paying their membership subscription by direct debit, from queries and setting up new direct debits to preparing the payments for collection. Outside
of work I spend my time studying for my degree in criminology and psychology, watching Doctor Who and talking to my plants.
I am Head of CILIP in Scotland. The job entails working as part of a team of two looking supporting CILIP Scotland members. We deliver events, support, training, advocacy, campaigns, communications and more for our members in Scotland
as well as working with partners and our Trustee Board for the benefit of library services in Scotland. Previously, I worked in public libraries in Inverclyde for 5 years as Learning Services Librarian.

As the Customer Support Manager at Cilip, I look after the membership and Employment partner's scheme. I am committed to providing our members with high quality service and developing customer relationship. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking
