Call for Speakers - 20 minute presentations

The Copyright Conference has long been the vehicle to discuss big ideas and attracts well-established speakers and thought leaders in the field of copyright.

This year we are welcoming submissions for 20-minute presentations to feature as part of the programme. Successful applicants receive a complimentary delegate place for the day.

Talks should be around the theme of copyright and/or licence management, particularly within the contexts of libraries, universities and cultural heritage organisations. Topics which address the latest developments in copyright; present new research or case studies; or offer an international perspective are particularly welcome. Delegates in attendance are usually already in copyright roles and therefore sessions should be pitched at an appropriate level for a professional audience with existing working knowledge of copyright.

You can get a feel for previous programming here.

To apply

Please complete the submission form below by Midnight 30th January 2026.

We particularly welcome applications from professionals who are underrepresented in the library, knowledge and information sector, including people from ethnically diverse, LGBTQ+ and working-class backgrounds, people with experience of disability and those who are neuro-diverse.
