Help put libraries on the map

The UK is reviewing its progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals. As part of this review government is inviting people and organisations to share information about their projects that contribute to the UK’s delivery of the Sustainable Development Goals. There is a short survey to complete. Deadline is 16 November 2018.

CILIP contributed to the recent report by UKSSD Measuring up: How the UK is performing on the UK Sustainable Development Goals and highlighted the following goals as being of particular importance to libraries: Goal 4, Goal 3, Goal 9, Goal 10, Goal 16, Goal 8, Goal 5, Goal 11 and Goal 17. For examples of how libraries worldwide are supporting and contributing to the 2030 agenda see IFLA Access and opportunities for all.
